I am currently on a career break from clinical osteopathic practice.

While no longer seeing patients, I remain actively engaged in the osteopathic profession through education, mentorship, and professional development. I continue to refine my palpatory and clinical reasoning skills through ongoing postgraduate training and facilitation with the Barral Institute in Ireland.

The Barral Institute is a global organisation dedicated to education, training, and research in Visceral Manipulation, Neural Manipulation, and related manual therapies. After completing extensive postgraduate training, I was invited to establish and lead the Irish satellite of the Barral Institute in 2008. Current course offerings for healthcare practitioners are available at
www.barralinstitute.ie

Alongside this work, I am currently completing a Masterโ€™s degree in Expressive Arts Therapy, expanding my professional focus to include creative, relational, and embodied approaches to health, integration, and wellbeing.

I also remain involved in professional and interdisciplinary groups, with a particular interest in infant feeding, oral function, and tongue-tie. Knowledge developed through both professional collaboration and personal experience has been shared within the clinic over time in support of families seeking care.

At present, my work centres on education, mentoring, and the development of professional training pathways, while supporting the continued work of the independent practitioners practising at Southside Osteopaths.
